Comenz\u00f3 en la IPC 2011 en Jordania con discusiones con Scott Pittman y otros, sobre si necesit\u00e1bamos organizarnos como un movimiento global. En la IPC 2013 en Cuba, hubo una discusi\u00f3n de que deber\u00edamos empezar a organizarnos. Se form\u00f3 un peque\u00f1o equipo, estudiando el dise\u00f1o a nivel de patr\u00f3n sobre c\u00f3mo organizar, y recibieron un consentimiento m\u00e1s amplio para que un grupo se fuera y regresara en la pr\u00f3xima convergencia con algunos planes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso marc\u00f3 el comienzo de la siguiente fase, llamada El Siguiente Gran Paso (para la permacultura). Crearon una encuesta multiling\u00fce y obtuvieron m\u00e1s de 200 respuestas de organizaciones y muchos cientos de individuos. La iniciativa fue apoyada por un fondo de 47.000 libras esterlinas. Hubo discusiones en l\u00ednea, identificando patrones y marcos que ser\u00edan \u00fatiles como forma de organizaci\u00f3n a nivel mundial, los cuales fueron luego reunidos por un equipo de facilitaci\u00f3n y talleres. En la IPCUK celebrada en Londres en 2015, se realizaron talleres en los que se presentaron los hallazgos de la encuesta y del taller en l\u00ednea, as\u00ed como de reuniones anteriores. En 2016, utilizando la informaci\u00f3n de la IPCUK y las encuestas, se obtuvo la siguiente financiaci\u00f3n; 60.000 libras esterlinas para iniciar el CoLab, que se inici\u00f3 posteriormente a finales de 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IPC13 en la India en 2017, hubo m\u00e1s talleres. Se implementaron facilitadores y se form\u00f3 CoLab como un espacio en l\u00ednea para trabajar entre convergencias, colaborando para mejorar las redes locales a globales (en l\u00ednea) e informando en las convergencias y eventos regionales. En 2018, se extendi\u00f3 la financiaci\u00f3n y se elabor\u00f3 un plan de acci\u00f3n para los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a\u00f1os. Se obtuvieron 150.000 libras esterlinas adicionales de financiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde 2020 hasta finales de 2022, CoLab utiliz\u00f3 esta financiaci\u00f3n para iniciar la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.earth\/es\/capacityplus\/\">CapacityPlus<\/a>&nbsp;proyecto. Esto implic\u00f3 la incubaci\u00f3n de C\u00edrculos de trabajo e iniciativas, el apoyo al aprendizaje electr\u00f3nico y la capacitaci\u00f3n, el desarrollo de un conjunto de herramientas \u00e9ticas y la celebraci\u00f3n de eventos que apoyaron el cumplimiento de los VMAs de CoLab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pr\u00f3ximos Pasos Proyecto \u2013 <\/strong>En 2023, el CoLab lanz\u00f3 el&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/opencollective.com\/next-steps\">Pr\u00f3ximos pasos<\/a>&nbsp;proyecto. Se ha conseguido financiaci\u00f3n para este proyecto por un total de 360.000 libras para los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a\u00f1os. El proyecto Next Steps apoya objetivos amplios y diversos. It started at the IPC 2011 in Jordan with discussions with Scott Pittman and others, as to whether we needed to organize as a global movement. At IPC 2013 in Cuba, there was a discussion that we should start to organize. A small team formed, looking at pattern-level design on how to go about organizing, and they received wider consent for a group to go away and come back at the next convergence with some plans.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>That marked the beginning of the next phase, called The Next Big Step (for permaculture). They created a multi-lingual survey, and had over 200 responses from organizations, and many hundreds from individuals. The initiative was supported by a fund of 47,000 GBP. There were online discussions, identifying patterns and frameworks that would be useful as a way to organize globally, which were then brought together by a facilitation team and workshops. At IPCUK held in London in 2015, there were workshops which presented the findings of the survey and online workshop and previous meetings. In 2016, using info from the IPCUK and surveys, the next funding was secured; 60,000 GBP to start the CoLab, which was subsequently initiated in late 2016.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>IPC13 in India in 2017, there were more workshops. Stewards were brought into place, and the CoLab formed as an online space to work in between convergences, working together to enhance local to global networks (online) and report back at convergences and regional events. In 2018 funding was extended, and a program of action was put together for the next 3 years. An additional 150,000 GBP of funding was secured from that.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>From 2020 until the end of 2022 the CoLab used this funding to initiate the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/perma.earth\/capacityplus\/\">CapacityPlus<\/a>&nbsp;project. This involved the incubation of working Circles and initatives, supporting eLearning and training, developing an ethical suite of tools, and holding events that supported the fulfilment of the VMAs of CoLab.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Next Steps Project - <\/strong>In 2023 the CoLab launched the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/opencollective.com\/next-steps\">Next Steps<\/a>\u00a0project. Funding of a grand total of \u00a3360,000 was secured for this project over the next 3 years.\u00a0The Next Steps project is supporting wide and diverse aims. This includes research and development into practical solutions for major environmental challenges, a global permaculture movement map, communications and engagement activities, governance research, and more.
