RetroFutureSpective Process and Synthesis

This document describes the design and implementation of a group process that took place in November 2025, to evaluate the Next Steps Project, through the lens of Permaculture Principles. This was an adaptation of a Principles Focused Evaluation. The document also includes some of the synthesis. This approach could be adopted or adapted to evaluate other permaculture projects or initiatives.

This work was funded by the Next Steps Project as part of the International Permaculture CoLab.
