The Welcome Circle is the heart of hospitality in the International Permaculture CoLab. We create pathways for connection, orientation, and engagement—so members feel seen, supported, and empowered to participate.

Onboarding & Induction: Hosting monthly onboarding calls and one-on-one welcome chats to help new and returning members find their footing. Please check the journey into the CoLab

Platform Stewardship: Managing our community space (community.perma.earth) to keep communications clear, welcoming, and functional for everyone.

For the past three years 2022-2025 as part of the Next Steps Project we managed:

Community Gardening: Cultivating conversations that spark collaboration across Circles and projects.

Resource Creation: Developing guides and visual resources like the How CoLab Works series to support orientation and engagement.

We’re here to tend the social soil so the ecosystem can grow strong and rooted. :seedling:
