Description
The JEDAI Permaculture Cards help designers, teachers, and organisers make permaculture spaces, courses, events, and designs more Just, Equitable, Diverse, Accessible, and Inclusive. They offer simple prompts to widen perspectives, highlight blind spots, and support actions that help people feel genuinely welcomed. This first set is based on the outputs of the Permaculture Association’s JEDAI Report, focusing on four areas: BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergence, and Disability & Chronic Illness. Further areas may be added when resources allow.
Use these cards as prompts to encourage inclusive thinking when: Making permaculture designs (physical or social), or organising courses, workshops, events, hands-on practicals or any permaculture activity.
This work was funded by the Next Steps Project as part of the International Permaculture CoLab.
We have a created a short survey for people who are downloading our resources. If you have a couple of minutes we would greatly appreciate your help in filling it out. This will help to improve the quality of our resources and understanding of how they are being used.
